The Community Planning Advisory Committee is being asked to provide feedback and recommendations on draft North Saanich Zoning Bylaw No. 1606, which received first reading by Council on April 27, 2026. The bylaw’s full scope, including proposed zone changes and density framework, is not set out in the meeting package.

CPAC’s input will guide revisions before the bylaw proceeds to second reading, with adoption possible in mid-2026 if Council advances the draft.

A Development Permit application will be considered for an undisclosed address in North Saanich, BC, with the applicant seeking approval for the proposal. The application is scheduled for review at the Council meeting on May 5, 2026. No outcome has been determined at this time.
